Founded in 1998, Tawfiiq East Africa Transport Association is a leading force in the transport and logistics landscape of Somaliland, the Horn of Africa, and the broader East African region. With over three decades of operational experience, Tawfiiq plays a central role in facilitating trade, cargo movement, and supply chain connectivity across the region.
Headquartered in Berbera, with a key branch in Hargeisa, Tawfiiq operates at the heart of East Africa’s most strategic trade gateway—Berbera Port, adjacent to the DP World Berbera Terminal 2 and the Berbera Economic Zone. This unique positioning allows us to efficiently connect regional markets to global trade routes through the Gulf of Aden, Red Sea, and beyond.
